A total of 57 Husker swimmers and divers have combined for 149 individual conference championships (does not include relay titles) since Virginia Kincade claimed Nebraska's first titles in one- and three-meter diving in 1975.

Michelle Butcher (Alpine, Calif.) owns the Nebraska record with 10 individual event conference championships. Nebraska's conference champions have come from 19 states and eight foreign countries.

Nebraska has won its most conference titles in the 200 breaststroke and the 200 backstroke with 15 championships in each event. In the 200 breast, the Huskers won eight consecutive Big Eight/Big 12 conference crowns from 1994 through 2001.
