Nebraska leads the Big Ten Conference and ranks second in NCAA Division I with 362 (and counting) College Sports Communicators Academic All-Americans, an honor that recognizes student-athletes for their achievements in athletics, academics and the community, reflecting a longstanding history of providing excellent academic services and support.
The Huskers claimed 11 CSC Academic All-America awards in 2023-24, marking the 54th consecutive year that Nebraska has produced at least one Academic All-American. Eleanor Dale (soccer), Lexi Rodriguez (volleyball), Axelina Johansson (women's track and field), Till Steinforth (men's track and field) and Tyus Wilson (men's track and field) earned first-team CSC Academic All-America honors for the Huskers, while Sarah Weber (soccer), Billie Andrews (softball), Brett Sears (baseball), and Micaylon Moore (men's track and field) added second-team honors. Emanuela Casadei (women's track and field) and Asher Cohen (men's gymnastics) contributed third-team Academic All-America honors for the Huskers in 2023-24.
Men's gymnast Anton Stephenson brought home Nebraska's nation-leading 18th NCAA Today's Top Ten Award in 2019, the most prestigious award presented to the best and brightest 10 student-athletes annually, while track and field student-athlete Angela Mercurio was named the NCAA Woman of the Year in 2020.
