Student-Athlete Support Services

Led by Deputy Athletic Director for Student Services Dennis LeBlanc, Nebraska's 14 full-time academic staff members are committed to supporting student-athletes to succeed in the degree major of their choosing.

Academic Services is housed in the new Osborne Legacy Complex, which is open 122 hours each week and is dedicated to academic support. The complex includes state-of-the-art technology, ample space for independent study, mentoring and tutorial assistance.

Current and incoming student-athletes are provided an Apple MacBook Air to enhance their learning opportunities.

The Athletic Department offers athletic scholarships that will neither be reduced nor canceled for injury or performance provided the student-athlete remains a member in good standing with the community, the University, and the Athletics Department.

The Athletic Department encourages and continues to provide support for scholarship student-athletes' return to Nebraska at any time to complete their undergraduate degree, as long as the student-athlete did not transfer from Nebraska and left in good academic standing.
