Nebraska Unveils New 300,000 Sq. Ft. Training Facility

The front door to the Osborne Legacy Complex consists of:

Sandhills Global Plaza
The Sandhills Global Plaza connects the Osborne Legacy Complex with Memorial Stadium and Memorial Mall and is integrated into the Nebraska Athletics Hall of Fame.
It consists of:
- Four fire tables
- 27 bands of pavers representing crop rows throughout the state of Nebraska while also honoring Sam Foltz
Student-Athlete Training Table
The Student-Athlete Training Table facilitates nutritional development within a communal dining experience for all student-athletes. The Training Table is the primary resource for student-athletes to seek out holistic fueling options. The Student-Athlete Training Table operates and sets its menus with a student-athlete first mentality. It seeks to provide healthy, accomodating nutrition options for all student-athletes at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Training Tale also features the Lewis Family Life Skills Kitchen, allowing the student-athletes to practice their culinary skills and learn more about making nutritious meals.
The fueling stations are the secondary resource for student-athletes to fulfill their fueling needs. The primary goal of the fueling stations is to provide quick and easy sources of nutrition and hydration to supplement training and competition.
Dick and Peg Herman Academic Center/Abbott Life Skills Area
The Dick and Peg Herman Academic center provides an in-house academic hub for all student-athletes. Nebraska's academic staff members are in place to monitor daily academic progress, promote skill development, receive consistent course feedback, assist with the advising/registration process and monitor eligibility and progress toward graduation.
The Abbott Life Skills Area and staff provides proactive education to all incoming and returning student-athletes designed to promote responsible decision-making, enhance one's personal brand and prepare student-athletes for life after sports. Interactive presentations are delivered during summer bridge sessions, orientations and year-by-year tiered development workshops.
Ndamukong Suh Strength and Conditioning Center
The world-class strength and conditioning facility gives Husker student-athletes a technological and strategic advantage by combining state-of-the-art strength training innovation with top-notch coaching and programming.

The Jackson Family Recovery Center consists of:

Brook Berringer Players' Lounge
The Brook Berringer Players' Lounge is an 8,000 sq. ft. space for Husker Football Players to relax, play and socialize filled with the following:

- Custom Nebraska Billiards Table
- Full-service Fueling Station
- Photo Studio
- Barbershop
Frank Solich Locker Room
The Frank Solich Locker Room, presented by the Touchdown Club, consists of:
- 12,000 Sq. Ft.
- 145 Custom Lockers
- 71' Waterfall LED Screen
Walkthrough Room
The Walkthrough room is an interactive space for coaches and players to walk through game plans and simulate real game situations at a 1-to-1 scale.
It consists of:
- 8,000 Sq. Ft.
- 98' Projection Screen & 11.5 Million Pixels
- Same projectors used by NASA and the NHL
- 26.5 ft. tall windows overlooking the practice fields
- 20-Yard Artificial Turf Floor
Team Meeting Rooms
The individual position meeting rooms are for game plan preparation and instruction. The Osborne Legacy Complex has NINE individual position team meeting rooms.
Football Offices
The Football Offices are adjacent to the team position rooms and walkthrogh room and serves as the main hub for Nebraska Football coaches and staff members. Also located in this area are:
- Private balconies that overlook the practice fields
- Media Bullpen for Digital Content Creation
- Additional Space for Team Video, Recruiting and Analysts
The Bruce Grewcock Family Head Coach's Office includes:
- Reception Area
- Closing Room

Ricketts Family Football Team Auditorium
The Ricketts Family Football Team Auditorium is located directly behind the Hall of Champions LED big screen and is perched within the Hall of Champions, floating above the national championship trophies.
It includes:
- 200 Custom Theater Seats
- 3,100 Sq. Ft.
Kelly and Virginia Holthus Family Atrium
The Kelly and Virginia Holthus Family Atrium is a three-story atrium that connects all levels of the Osborne Legacy Complex.
It consists of:
- 65' Tall Ceilings
- Grand staircase connecting all three levels of the complex
- Two escalators that connect the lower player level with upper coaches' offices and meeting rooms to reduce travel time and enhance the conconvience of travel through the building for the athletes
