Nebraska Men's Swimming & Diving Team Top 40 NCAA Finishes

Nebraska men's swimming and diving regularly produced top-40 finishes at the NCAA Championships. With 226 all-time All-America awards, Nebraska's list of All-America swimmers and divers powered the Huskers to 21 top-40 team finishes at the NCAA Championships, including 12 top-20 performances.

Nebraska's first top-40 team effort at nationals came all the way back in 1947, when the Huskers finished 13th. It was nearly 20 years before the Huskers were back in the national spotlight, finishing 15th at the 1966 NCAA Championships. During the 1980's and 1990's, Nebraska became a conference and national contender on a regular basis. In the 1980's, Nebraska produced eight top-40 NCAA finishes, including back-to-back No. 10 finishes in 1988 and 1989 - the best NCAA finishes in men's program history.

The men's program produced four consecutive top-20 NCAA finishes from 1997 to 2000.
