Lincoln -- Nebraska Swimming and Diving coach Pablo Morales released the 2001-02 schedule today. The Huskers will take to the road for the majority of their competitions, with only two home meets; an intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 19, and a dual with Iowa State on Feb. 1.
The Huskers will only face Kansas and Iowa State in league dual action this season, with the majority of competitions coming at invitationals.
"The schedule was designed to take advantage of some of the top-notch invitationals that are out there," Morales said. "This allows our swimmers to prepare for a three-day conference meet."
The Huskers open the regular season with the divers at the Stanford Invitational on Nov. 3, and the entire squad at the Minnesota Invitational on Nov. 16.
