Nebraska-Creighton NCAA Softball Postponed

Severe weather has postponed Saturday’s NCAA Tournament Region 5 elimination game between second-seeded Nebraska and sixth-seeded Creighton. The teams will resume play in the second inning Sunday at 10 a.m.

The winner of the Nebraska-Creighton game will take on top-seeded California at noon. Game 15, if necessary, will begin at 2:30 p.m.

"I hope we get the opportunity to play three games tomorrow," NU Coach Rhonda Revelle said. "The weather is something we can’t control, so we have to go home and get some rest. We’ll just take it pitch by pitch tomorrow."
