The University of Nebraska men’s golf team compiled a score of 573 (287-286) to put them in 10th place through two rounds of golf at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Monday at the par-70, 7,133-yard Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
Junior transfer Ty Capps stands in first place on the team with a total score of 139 (72-67), placing him in a tie for seventh as the only Husker to score under par. Capps’ second round score of 67 matches his career and season-low which he shot at the Ron Moore Invitational.
Junior Drew Reynolds stands in second for the team with a total score of 144 (71-73), placing him in a tie for 40th.
Junior Brady Schnell (73-72) and senior Judd Cornell (71-74) are both right behind Reynolds with a score of 145 to place them in a tie for 48th in the tournament.
Freshman Trent Price rounds out the Huskers’ scoring lineup with a score of 155 (76-79) as he stands in a tie for 99th in the tournament.
The Huskers will finish the tournament with a final round of golf at <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>9 a.m. Tuesday.
