Chardon, Ohio - The Nebraska men's golf team stands in 23rd place with a total of 624 (308-318) strokes through the first two rounds of the NCAA Central Regional at the challenging Sand Ridge Golf Club Chardon, Ohio on Thursday.
Junior Drew Reynolds leads the Husker squad with a total of 155 (75-80), leaving him in a tie for 95th.
Junior Ryan Lenahan (76-80) and senior Judd Cornell (77-79) have shot a total of 156 and stand in a tie for 102nd. Junior Brady Schnell is in a tie for 118th with a 158 (78-80) to round out the Husker's scoring lineup, while junior Ty Capps is in a tie for 133rd with a 162 (83-79).
Oklahoma State is leading the Central Regional with a 565 (280-285) while Northwestern is in second with a 574 (281-293). Texas A&M is in third with a 575 (284-291) and Lamar University is in fourth with a 581 (286-295).
Minnesota (291-292) and Georgia Tech (295-288) are tied for fifth with a total of 583 to round out the top five teams.
Named the 52nd best golf course in America by Golf Digest in 2005, the Tom Fazio-designed Sand Ridge plays as a 7,173-yard, par-71 (35-36), with the sixth hole being converted from a par 5 to a 485-yard par 4.
