Lincoln ? Four members of the No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team were honored Wednesday with selections to the AVCA All-Central Region team. The honorees included junior right side hitter Sarah Pavan, sophomore outside hitter Jordan Larson, redshirt freshman setter Rachel Holloway and junior middle blocker Tracy Stalls. It is Pavan’s third consecutive first-team selection, while the other three players were all honored for the first time in their careers.

Pavan was honored for the third consecutive season, averaging a Big 12-best 5.12 kills per game, while ranking among Big 12 leaders in points per game (6.02, first) and service aces per game (0.31, eighth). The Big 12 Player of the Year, Pavan has produced seven matches with at least 20 kills, including a season-high 24 kills in three contests.

Stalls earned her first AVCA All-Central Region award by averaging 2.65 kills and 1.44 blocks per game in 30 matches this season. She leads the Big 12 and ranks 10th nationally in hitting percentage (.406) and is fourth in the league in blocks. Stalls has reached double figures in kills in 10 matches, including a career-high 16 kills and 12 blocks at Colorado on Nov. 11.

She is among Big 12 leaders in service aces (0.48/gm, second), points (5.22, third), kills (fourth) and digs (10th). She averages 13.47 assists, 2.62 digs and 1.17 kills per game, ranking third in the Big 12 and 10th nationally in assists. Holloway has helped NU lead the country in both kills per game and assists per game, while ranking second nationally in hitting percentage.
