The five-game win over Missouri in Columbia not only was a first for KU since 2001, but also snapped a 12-match conference losing streak dating back to last fall. KU, which also has a win over MVC co-leader Missouri State, is one win away from matching its entire overall and Big 12 win total from a season ago, a year which snapped KU’s streak of three straight NCAA appearances.
