Wrestling Announces 2008 Camp Dates

Lincoln - The Nebraska wrestling program has announced camp dates for the summer of 2008 on the days listed below. Camp information, including dates, costs and an application form, can be found by going to the camp link at the top of this page.

The Husker staff will host three team camps and two specialized individual camps during the summer of 2008. Wrestlers in attendance will have a chance to learn from and compete with the Husker wrestling staff and team members. Head Coach Mark Manning will be in attendance at each camp as well as numerous guest instructors. Prices start at $195 and admission is limited. 

In addition, this year NU has expanded its offerings as the Huskers will host a team camp at Furman University in Greenville, S.C. The Furman Team Camp will offer the same instruction as sessions held in Lincoln, but with added advice specific to East Coast wrestling.

TEAM CAMPS:

• Team Camp I - June 29-July 3
• Team Camp II - July 6-10
• Team Camp III - July 13-17
• Furman Team Camp - June 29-July 3*

INDIVIDUAL CAMPS:

Beginners Technique Camp - June 19-22 Competitive Takedown Camp - July 10-13
