The $7,500 grants, which began at $2,500 in 1996-97, are given in honor of the late Dr. Prentice Gautt, a former Big 12 Conference staff member who passed away in March of 2005. The panel for the scholarships consisted of three faculty representatives, one senior women administrator and one athletic director.

T?trault, a Lincoln, Neb. native, was a standout all-arounder for the Husker gymnastics team for four years. T?trault, a three-time NCAA All-American, was not only an outstanding athlete, but his success in the classroom remains unparalleled. T?trault, a mathematics major with a pre-med emphasis, is set to graduate in August.
