Lincoln - On Sunday night the NU Relay Club held its annual awards banquet to highlight the accomplishments of Nebraska track and field and cross country student-athletes during the 2008 track and field season and the 2007 cross country season. The banquet was held at the Embassy Suites and is open to student-athletes, their families, the Relay Club and the track and field staff.

The Huskers are currently practicing hard in preparation of the 2009 season. Fans can get an early glimpse of the Huskers on Friday, Dec. 12 at the Devaney Center Indoor Track when the Big Red competes in its intra-squad meet. More information on the 2009 Huskers can be found at Huskers.com.
