Fans Invited to Attend Soup Supper on Jan. 29

The Nebraska softball program invites fans to attend the On Deck Circle’s sixth annual Soup Supper, set for Thursday, Jan. 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the West Stadium Club (level 3 of West Memorial Stadium). <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

 

Cost for the soup supper is $5 per person (ages 3 and under eat for free) and attendees are asked to RSVP to Anita (AJ) Jensen (ajensen@huskers.com) with Husker softball at (402) 472-8801 by Wednesday, Jan. 21. Meter parking is available for the event around Memorial Stadium.

 

Fans attending the event get to meet the 2009 team and will have an early chance to purchase Husker softball merchandise. A silent and live auction will also be held, with the featured live auction item being an autographed football signed by Tom Osborne and Bo Pelini.

 

“This is always a very fun evening for our players and coaches as we get the opportunity to mingle, visit, and thank our fans,” Head Coach Rhonda Revelle said. “After all, we do have the best fans. Please join us as the fan appreciation Soup Supper is the Nebraska softball team’s opportunity to say ?Thank You’ for your support.”
