Wrestling Announces 2009 Camp Dates

Lincoln - The Nebraska wrestling program has announced camp dates for the summer of 2009 on the days listed below. Camp information, including dates, costs and an application form, can be found by going to the camp link at the top of this page.

The Husker staff will host three team camps and three specialized individual camps during the summer of 2009. Wrestlers in attendance will have a chance to learn from and compete with the Husker wrestling staff and team members. Head Coach Mark Manning will provide instruction at each camp as well as numerous guest instructors. Prices start at $195 and admission is limited. 

In addition to their camps in Nebraska, the Huskers will host a team camp at Furman University in Greenville, S.C. The Furman Team Camp will offer the same instruction as sessions held in Lincoln, but with added advice specific to East Coast wrestling.

TEAM CAMPS:

• Team Camp I - June 28-July 2
• Team Camp II - July 12-16
• Team Camp III - July 19-23
• Furman Team Camp - June 25-29*

INDIVIDUAL CAMPS:

• Technique Camp - July 9-12
• Takedown Camp - July 16-19
• Intensive Camp - July 9-23

LOCATION:

• Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track, Lincoln, Neb.
