Update: Shanahan Makes Winter Cup Finals

Nebraska senior Kyle Shanahan will compete alongside John Robinson in the 2010 Winter Cup Finals at Las Vegas, Nev., on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 8:15 p.m. CST.

Shanahan, who had previously missed the Finals cut by one point, was invited to advance to the final round after another participant scratched.

The 2010 Winter Cup marks the first time in Nebraska history that two Huskers have advanced to the final round. Both Shanahan and Robinson will start the competition on vault on Saturday night.
