The Huskers' New Threads
Nebraska's basketball uniforms will have a new look to them in 2010-11, as Nebraska will be sporting adidas Revolution 30 jerseys this season. The Huskers' new uniforms, which were worn for the first time during Friday's team photo day, are the same style as the new NBA jerseys which debuted on Wednesday in New York City.
The jerseys are 30 percent lighter than the previous model and were designed to keep athletes cooler, drier and more comfortable on the court. The new uniforms, which are made from 60 percent recycled materials, feature adidas' Formotion technology, which reduces seams, decreases friction between the garment and the player's skin and optimizes the player's natural movement through specially constructed material. adidas reduced uniform weight and increased player comfort by switching front and back numbers from heavier, dense materials to breathable mesh.
The uniforms received positive reviews, but many of the players were anxious to test the fabric in game-like conditions to see how they hold up.

Big Ten Network on Time Warner Cable in Lincoln
For Time Warner Cable customers in Lincoln, the news that the Big Ten Network is now available (Ch. 238; Ch. 1238 in HD) is a welcome addition. As a DirecTV customer, it is one of my favorites before taking over on the basketball beat because of the number of games on the network. While football fans will enjoy the benefits beginning with Saturday's games, it also brings a lot to the table in basketball coverage. Before conference play, every Big Ten home game is televised either live or on a tape-delayed basis, and once league play starts, any game that is not on ESPN or CBS is carried on the network. If you are outside of Lincoln, here is the Big Ten Network Channel Finder (http://www.bigtennetwork.com/dpp/about_us/ChannelFinder).

Progress on the Hendricks Training Complex
We had a chance to check in with John Ingram Thursday afternoon to get an update on the progress of the Hendricks Training Complex. The facility is on track to open next fall, and fans who come to the Devaney Center for Saturday's volleyball match on Saturday will see the extent of the project. Here is what the new parking map for the Devaney Center is beginning with tomorrow's volleyball match. (2010-11 Parking Map)

Over the last couple of days, you may have notices a few changes on the 2010-11 schedule. The only one of the list which will not be televised for sure is the Jan. 29th game against Texas A&M. That is a doubleheader day at Devaney there is no available TV window available without making it difficult on our fans.
