Numerous former Huskers continue to excel overseas in professional leagues.
Jordan Larson-Burbach is competing for Dinamo Kazan in th Russia Super League. Kazan swept seventh-place Tyumen 25-20, 29-27, 25-22 on March 14 after a 20-day break from the regular-season schedule. She recorded 18 kills on 40 attacks, two blocks annd ace for a match-high 21 points.
Sarah Pavan continues to excel with Unilever in Brazil's Superliga. The team has the top seed in the playoffs and swept its best-of-three semifinal round series with fifth-seed Sesi-Sao Paulo following a 25-18, 25-21, 25-23 win on March 16. She had 16 points in the match. Unilever will take on Sollys/Nestle in the Superliga final on April 7.
Nany Metcalf is playing for Igtisadchi Baku of the Azerbaijan Super League as they faced league-leader Rabita Baku on March 18, but fell 25-14, 25-21, 25-23. Metcalf recorded nine points, all kills coming on 27 attacks.
Lauren Cook provided 27 assists in a four-set win for Bayamon over Catano on March 12. Gina Mancuso had 20 points in a four-set Ponce loss to Carolina on March 13. Cook notched 13 assists, 12 digs and four points in Bayamon's four-set win over Ponce on March 15, while Mancuso led Ponce with 20 points in the match. Cook also added 16 assists and 13 digs in a five-set loss to Mayaquez on March 17. Hannah Werth, who plays for Bayamon, continues to be sidelined with an injury.
Tara Mueller had previous been playing for Power Cats Volleyball in Düdingen, Switzerland. She recently signed with Juncos in Puerto Rico and competed in her first match on Sunday where she totaled 19 digs and five points.
