The U.S. Women's National Volleyball team officially opened its summer training block on May 6. Additional members of the team will return to training later this month and throughout the summer. Several athletes who have completed their collegiate eligibility will be in the gym at various times during the summer as part of a tryout process to earn a spot on the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team, while a select group of college seniors-to-be will be in the gym on a short-term basis to help acclimate to the team for a possible return following their collegiate careers.
