Jonas Finishes Second at USA Outdoor Championships

Former Husker National Champion Dusty Jonas finished second in the high jump at the 2013 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa on Sunday. Jonas posted a leap of 7-5 ¾ (2.28m) to come in second. Erik Kyndard Jr. cleared the same height, but with less attempts to take the title.

Also in action at the USA Championships was former Husker Luke Pinkelman. He finished 14th in the shot put with a throw of 61-8 ¼ (18.80m).

At the Jamaican National Senior Championships, Chad Wright finished third in the shot put with a throw of 62-2 ¼ (18.95).
