Huskers Set to Compete at USA Championships

Nebraska junior Ellie Ewere and sophomore Maggie Malone will compete at the U.S. Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, Calif., beginning Wednesday and running through Saturday.

Ewere, who finished fifth in the triple jump at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Championships, will compete in the triple jump at the meet on Thursday at 7:35 p.m. CT. Malone, who earned her second All-America accolades with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships, will compete in the javelin on Thursday at 8 p.m. CT. Also competing this week will be Cody Walton in the junior multi-event competition, and former Huskers Eric Lund (400h) and Dusty Jonas (High Jump).
