The NCAA announced the release of its annual Graduation Success Rate report on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and head coach John Cook's volleyball program joined Nebraska's women's basketball, women's golf, women's tennis and softball programs as the five Husker teams with perfect 100 percent rates each of the last 10 years.
The Graduation Success Rate is an NCAA measurement that, unlike the federally mandated graduation rates, includes transfer data in the calculation. The GSR scores released on Oct. 28 are based on four classes of scholarship student-athletes who entered college in the fall of 2004 to the fall of 2007.
The strong graduation rate further enhances Nebraska's stellar academic reputation. The Husker volleyball program has produced more CoSIDA Academic All-Americans than other female sport in NCAA history (37).
