The Nebraska wrestling team opens its 2015-16 campaign on Sunday in the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open at Frost Arena in Brookings, S.D.

The day-long event will start at 9 a.m. (CT). Event information is available on GoJacks.com, while scoring and brackets can be found on TrackWrestling.com.

Nearly 200 wrestlers are scheduled to compete on Sunday in a tournament field that includes Minnesota, South Dakota State, North Dakota State as well as a number of regional Division II, NAIA and junior college programs. The Huskers are bringing the majority of their starters along with backups and redshirts.

  • The Huskers return All-American TJ Dudley (184) and six additional NCAA qualifiers from last season. Senior Jake Sueflohn (149), who missed last season with an injury, is a three-time NCAA Championships qualifier.

  • Nebraska will make one dual appearance on the Big Ten Network this season, while making 10 dual showings on BTN Plus before the Big Ten Championships, March 5-6, in Iowa City, Iowa. The lone BTN appearance for the Huskers will be their Feb. 12 home dual against Northwestern at 8 p.m. (CT).
  • Nebraska finished ninth at the 2015 NCAA Championships, as departed seniors Robert Kokesh (third at 174) and James Green (third at 157), along with returning Husker TJ Dudley (eighth at 184) collected All-America honors. The Huskers finished the dual season with a 14-1 record, which included an 8-1 mark in the Big Ten.
