Corder Joins Husker Soccer Team

The Nebraska soccer team announced the addition of goalkeeper Aubrei Corder on Tuesday. She will enroll at the University of Nebraska in January.

“The combination of strong team morals, all-around support from sports-related people as well as academic advisors, outstanding facilities and the feeling I got on campus were perfect for me,” Corder said. “The coaching staff is also one you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else.”

“We are very excited about Aubrei joining us in January,” Assistant Coach Marty Everding said. “She has a great appetite for the game, really wants to improve and she brings a strong combination of athleticism, attitude and technique. We look forward to having her here.”

Corder, a Barboursville, W.Va. native, was homeschooled and played club soccer for Ohio Premier ECNL under Coach Alan Yost. The 6-0 goalkeeper attended Id2 ECNL camp, Big Red Soccer Camp, University of Kentucky Camp and Beyond the Post Goalkeeper Academy.
