Nebraska sophomore setter Kelly Hunter was named the Big Ten Co-Setter of the Week on Monday by the conference office.
The honor is the second weekly award of the season for the Papillion, Neb., native. She was also the Big Ten Setter of the Week after opening weekend.
Hunter led Nebraska to high hitting percentages in a 3-0 win against Indiana and 3-1 win at Michigan last week. With Hunter guiding the attack, the Huskers hit .375 against Indiana and .318 at Michigan. For the week, Nebraska's team hitting percentage was .340. Hunter had 52 assists at Michigan with nine digs and two blocks. She had 37 assists, five digs, two kills and two blocks last Wednesday in the sweep of Indiana.
Hunter averaged 12.71 assists per set for the weekend and is third in the conference in assists this season at 11.37 per set.
Michigan State's Rachel Minarick was the other setter to share the honor.
