Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska wrestling team held its annual Intrasquad in conjunction with the Fall Coaches Clinic on Friday at the Devaney Center. The event gave fans the first chance to see the entire 2015-16 team.
The day-long Coaches Clinic featured technique sessions from four-time World/Olympic champion Jordan Burroughs, World bronze medalist James Green and three-time All-American Robert Kokesh.
The Intrasquad began with Associate Head Coach Bryan Snyder introducing each Husker wrestler to the crowd. The Huskers drilled and scrapped for the majority of the 90-minute workout. Afterwards, Head Coach Mark Manning thanked the fans for attending and the Huskers signed autographs.
Next weekend, NU heads to Troy, N.Y., for the Journeymen/Asics Northeast Duals, where the Huskers will face Lock Haven, Oregon State and Lehigh on Sunday, Nov. 15, starting at 8:20 a.m. (CT). The Huskers’ first home dual is set for Saturday, Nov. 21 against Wyoming at the Devaney Center, beginning at 7 p.m.
