The Big Ten Conference announced its fall Academic All-Big Ten honorees on Wednesday afternoon, including eight members of the Nebraska volleyball program.
Senior Cecilia Hall, a biochemistry major, earned her third career honor to lead the list of eight. Hall is also a CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree.
Kelly Hunter (marketing), Amber Rolfzen (business administration), Kadie Rolfzen (advertising & public relations) and Justine Wong-Orantes (child, youth & family studies) were selected for the second time in their careers. Annika Albrecht (child, youth & family studies), Olivia Boender (child, youth & family studies) and Sydney Townsend (chemistry) were honored in their first year of eligibility for the award.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
