The Nebraska soccer team opens its regular season this weekend with a home match on Friday night before traveling to Utah for a Monday night matchup. The Huskers host Marquette at Barbara Hibner Stadium on Friday at 7:05 p.m. (CT), with live stats available on Huskers.com. On Monday, NU battles No. 16 BYU at South Field in Provo, Utah, starting at 6:30 p.m. (CT). The game will be televised on BYUtv, with an online stream available on BYUtv.org.

Last Time Out: The Huskers dominated from start to finish in a 4-0 exhibition triumph over North Dakota State at Hibner Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 13.

Up Next: The Huskers journey West to face Oregon and Oregon State next weekend. NU’s match against the Ducks is set for Friday, Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. (CT). The Huskers battle Oregon State on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 2 p.m. Both games will be televised by Pac-12 TV.

• Nebraska is two wins away from its 300th in program history, which would mark the same milestone for Head Coach John Walker. Nebraska/Walker hold an all-time record of 298-140-29.

• The Huskers return their leading goal scorer from last season, Caroline Flynn (5), and leading assister, Sydney Miramontez (5).
