The Nebraska men's golf team has announced the signing of Daniel Pearson of Longmont, Colorado.
"Daniel is a highly recruited player and one of the top ranked juniors in Colorado for all classes," Assistant Coach Judd Cornell said.
Pearson has many accolades, including three year All-State (sophomore-senior), four-time High School All-Conference, 2016 Boco Player of the Year, 2016 Conference Player of the Year, 2016 Optimist Qualifier, and 2016 Junior Americas Cup Qualifier. In 2014, Pearson was the Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour (RMJGT) Pelican Lakes Winner, firing rounds of 66 and 68. With that, he is a 14 time RMJGT champion. In 2015, he finished 7th American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Hale Irwin. Pearson has a 69.17 senior year high school scoring average.
