Seven Husker Bowlers Named Academic All-Big Ten

Seven Nebraska bowlers were named Academic All-Big Ten, as the conference released its spring honorees on Wednesday.

Gazmine Mason and Briana Zabierek were both named Academic All-Big Ten for the third-consecutive season, while Kelly Belzeski, Julia Bond and Alexandra Mosquera each earned recognition for a second time. Meghan Straub and Allison Morris rounded out NU's list of honorees, as both earned the honor for the first time.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
