The Nebraska beach volleyball team fell to a pair of top-15 opponents on Saturday in Tempe, Arizona.
The Huskers, now 1-2 on the season, were swept 5-0 by No. 6 LSU and No. 11 Cal Poly as NU shuffled its pairs around from its 4-1 season-opening win at Benedictine University at Mesa on Friday night.
The Huskers will finish their road trip on Sunday with matches against No. 1 USC (10 a.m.) and No. 19 Arizona State (Noon) at the PERA Club in Tempe.
Following the trip to Arizona, Nebraska will host a pair of beach matches at the Hawks Championship Center. On Friday, March 2, NU will host Missouri State at 2 p.m. The following week on Thursday, March 8, Nebraska will go up against Missouri Baptist at 2 p.m. Both matches will be closed to the public because of space limitations.
