Green to Compete for Senior Men's Freestyle Title

Las Vegas, Nev. – Two-time world medalist and Husker great James Green (70 kg) advanced to the U.S. Open Senior Men’s Freestyle finals yesterday evening with a 6-6 victory (criteria) over Penn State’s three-time national champion Jason Nolf.

He defeated Nolf in the semifinals by criteria after he landed a takedown with just nine seconds remaining in the bout. The U.S. Open Senior Men’s Freestyle finals begin at 4 p.m. CT this afternoon.
