The Nebraska soccer team will take an international trip this summer, as the Huskers journey to Scotland, June 11-23.
“The trip to Scotland in June will be a great cultural experience for the players as Scotland is such an interesting country with a mix of historic sites and beautiful physical geography,” Head Coach John Walker said. “The games will be a good test for us as we are playing the best teams in the Scottish Women’s Premier League as well as the Scotland Under-19 National Team. It is also a great opportunity for development in the area of team dynamics.”
Nebraska has five games scheduled, beginning on June 13 against Forfar Farmington in Forfar. On June 15, the Huskers face the Scotland U-19 National Team at the Oriam National Training Center in Edinburgh. Each of the final three games will be played in Glasgow, as the Huskers take on Glasgow City Academy (June 17), Rangers FC (June 19) and Celtic FC (June 21).
