HSN Releases New Podcast - "Conversation with the Cooks"

“Conversation with the Cooks” is a new podcast produced by Husker Sports Network. The monthly show features four-time Nebraska Volleyball National Champion Head Coach John Cook and his daughter, Lauren (Cook) West, who was an All-America setter for the Huskers in 2012 and is currently the Husker Sports Network color commentator for all Nebraska Volleyball matches.

John and Lauren analyze the team while providing insider stories. New episodes will be released each month on Huskers.com and across varies podcast networks.

In the podcast’s first episode, Coach Cook and Lauren hit on a variety of topics, including:

-What the Huskers have been up to since the 2018 season ended

-The Huskers' 17-day trip to Asia this summer

-A pink eye scare in Japan

-Jazz Sweet taking on a challenge to eat a fish head at a Chinese restaurant

-The Huskers becoming the first of Cook's five teams that have gone to China to successfully complete a difficult climb at the Great Wall
