Lincoln – Join Nebraska Basketball Coach Fred Hoiberg and his staff next summer, and train like a Husker, as the dates for the 2020 Fred Hoiberg Basketball Camps have been set.
The 2020 camp series will feature four camps, and will take place in the Hendricks Training Complex on the University of Nebraska campus. The series includes a pair of Day Camps (June 8-11 and 22-25) and two new camps for the upcoming season.
The Parent/Child Camp (June 13-14) allows the camp staff an opportunity to work with both campers and parents on basketball fundamentals in a fun environment over a two-day period. This camp is for boys and girls entering the third through 12th grades.
The Shooting Camp (June 17-19) gives campers an opportunity to work on the entire process of shooting, from establishing a proper base to the follow through. Learn the same fundamentals which helped Fred Hoiberg lead the NBA in 3-point shooting. The shooting camp is also for boys and girls entering the third through 12th grades.
Back again this year are the popular Day Camps, emphasize the development of the basic fundamentals of basketball – shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense. The camp includes skill development, competitions, and games. Campers will be grouped according to age/grade, height, and ability levels. Both day camp sessions are open to boys and girls entering the third through 12th grades.
