Ten current and former Nebraska softball players were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes on Wednesday afternoon, announced on Wednesday.
Bree Boruff, Bri Cassidy, Olivia Ferrell, Carson Fischer, Ally Riley, Karlee Seevers, Madi Unzicker, Rylie Unzicker, Lindsey Walljasper and Sarah Yocom all received the award.
As a team, Nebraska ranked No. 71 with a 3.40 GPA for the 2018-19 academic year. Nebraska ranked fourth among reported Big Ten Schools, behind Indiana, Minnesota and Ohio State.
In order to be eligible, student-athletes must earn a 3.5 GPA or higher for the 2018-19 academic year.
