Classic Husker Matches to be Featured on Nebraska Day on BTN

Three Nebraska volleyball matches will be featured on the Big Ten Network on Saturday as part of the network's "Nebraska Day" coverage. BTN will be televising Nebraska athletic events throughout the day on Saturday. A full schedule can be found here

A 60-minute replay of Nebraska's Nov. 22, 2019 five-set win over Penn State will air at 3 p.m. (CT). Lexi Sun led the eighth-ranked Huskers with 20 kills, seven digs and four blocks in the 3-2 victory that ended Penn State's eight-match winning streak. 

Fans not only can watch a replay of the match on BTN, they can also register to watch a free re-watch party with assistant coach Jaylen Reyes, interim assistant coach Kelly Hunter, director of operations Lindsay Peterson and All-Big Ten setter Nicklin Hames. The group will provide commentary and analysis via Zoom while watching the replay of the NU-Penn State match. To register for the watch party, visit huskeralum.org. Instructions on how to watch will be sent via email, and you can submit questions to be asked during the commentary watch party. 

At 4 p.m., an hour-long replay of the Huskers' 3-2 win at No. 7 Minnesota on Nov. 22, 2019 will be televised. Sun had 18 kills as the Huskers closed out the fifth set on the road with an 11-0 run for their first win at Minnesota since 2014. 

And finally, the Nov. 2, 2018 showdown between No. 8 Nebraska and No. 7 Penn State will air at 9 p.m. Mikaela Foecke had 15 kills and a career-high 29 digs in the Huskers' 3-2 win, which came after a tough seven-match stretch in which the Huskers had gone 2-5. The win kick-started a 13-match win streak that took the Huskers all the way to the national championship match.
