"We are proud of the team for continuing to show grit and determination to continue to advance through the bracket and keep their season alive," Head Coach Paul Klempa said after the win. "Medaille proved to be a tough opponent and we tip our hat to their heart. We have a challenging match next against Vanderbilt and I think the team is as ready for the challenge as they have been all week. Should be a fun match this afternoon."
The Husker's lineup consisted of Michelle Guarro, Gwen Maeha, Kayla Verstraete, Cassidy Ray and Crystal Elliott.
Nebraska defeated Medaille 1,005-836 to win the traditional match. Ray led the team with a score of 228 with Verstraete scoring 216 behind her. Elliott accumulated a score of 210 to give NU three bowlers with a score over 200. Guarro scored 190 as Maeha bowled a 161 to round out the team.
