Nebraska Adds Boo Dryden To 2021 Signing Class

Boo Dryden has joined the Husker wrestling program's 2021 signing class, Nebraska Head Coach Mark Manning announced Friday.

"We're extremely excited to have Boo Dryden join the Nebraska wrestling family," Coach Manning said. "Boo is a tremendous competitor and a person of high character. He fits into our culture, and we look forward to helping Boo develop and compete at the highest level for himself and our team."

A native of Wichita, Kan., Dryden comes to Nebraska as a transfer from Minnesota with a redshirt year and one year of eligibility remaining. He wrestled at 133 pounds for the Gophers, tallying a career overall record of 13-14 and a dual record of 6-7. In the 2020-21 season, Dryden placed eighth at the Big Ten Championships with a 2-3 record and qualified for the NCAA Championships. Prior to Minnesota, the Academic All-Big Ten honoree spent two seasons at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where he was the 2019 NJCAA National Champion.

Dryden joins Scott Robertson, Jagger Condomitti and Lenny Pinto in the Huskers' 2021 signing class.
