Lincoln – Nebraska Athletics announced that men's basketball single-game tickets for non-conference games are on sale now.
A limited number of 300 level seats are available for the nine non-conference home games, as well as the exhibitions against Colorado (Oct. 31) and Peru State (Oct. 27). Tickets for most of the non-conference matchups are priced at $7 per game, while the matchups with Creighton (Nov. 16) and Kansas State (Dec. 19) as well as the charity exhibition game with Colorado are priced at $10. Proceeds from the NU-Colorado game will benefit the TeamMates mentoring program; the YWCA of Lincoln for its Employ402 program and the Nebraska Greats Foundation. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting Huskers.com or calling the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at 800-8-BIGRED during business hours. Tickets will not be available for purchase on the Huskers app.
Fans who are still interested in purchasing 2021-22 season tickets can contact the NU Athletic Ticket Office for more information. The 21-game package includes 10 Big Ten matchups, the nine non-conference games as well as both exhibition matchups and starts at $168
for 300 Level seats. All 100 and 200 Level seats and student tickets are sold out for the upcoming season. Single-game tickets for Big Ten games will go on sale later this fall.
The Huskers bring back seven letterwinners for third-year coach Fred Hoiberg, including returning starters Trey McGowens, Lat Mayen and Derrick Walker. NU also brings one of the top recruiting classes in the Big Ten, highlighted by five-star recruit Bryce McGowens, top-100 recruit Wilhelm Breidenbach and 2020 Olympian Keisei Tominaga. NU also adds a trio of Division I transfers, including Arizona State Alonzo Verge Jr., who averaged 14.0 points per game in 2020-21 as well as former top-100 recruits C.J. Wilcher (Xavier) and Keon Edwards (DePaul).
Nebraska-NC State Time and TV Announced
Lincoln – The Big Ten Conference, Atlantic Coast Conference and ESPN announced the start time Thursday afternoon for Nebraska's matchup at NC State in the 2021 Big Ten/ACC Men's Basketball Challenge.
The contest between the Huskers and Wolfpack on Wednesday, Dec. 1 will tip off at 6:15 p.m. (central) and will be televised on ESPNU. The game will also be carried on the Huskers Radio Network. With Thursday's announcement, all of the Huskers' 2021-22 non-conference games have been set, as the Huskers will make seven TV appearances during non-conference play.
