Stivrins Taken in Athletes Unlimited Draft Class

Nebraska senior middle blocker Lauren Stivrins was one of nine NCAA players selected in the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Volleyball College Draft Friday night for the Dallas-based pro league's second year of competition.

The NCAA draftees are invited to join contracted returnees and free agents who will comprise the 44-player league. Competition will include 30 matches, March 16 to April 16, at Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas.

Stivrins is a three-time All-American and a four-time first-team All-Big Ten selection at Nebraska.

Former Huskers Jordan Larson, Kelly Hunter and Briana Holman participated in Athletes Unlimited's 2021 season. Larson intends to play again in 2022.
