In the first day of competition at the Bruin Diving Invitational, senior Sara Troyer led the way for the Huskers, securing a fifth place finish with a 536.75 in the one-meter.
Sophomore Reagan Hinze joined Troyer in the finals, where she scored a 451.30 to place 17th out of the 51 entries. Two Stanford divers, Carolina Sculti and Daria Lenz clinched first and second in the event today.
Senior Hallie Roman completes the diving trio competing in Los Angeles this weekend. The three Huskers will dive in the three-meter tomorrow with prelims beginning at 12:30 p.m. (CT) and finals to follow at 3 p.m. (CT).
