Divers Wrap Up at Bruin Invite

During the final day at the Bruin Diving Invitational, senior Hallie Roman represented the Huskers in platform finals. The Michigan-native scored a 204.00 to place 16th. Throughout the three-day invite in Los Angeles, all three Nebraska divers earned spots in the finals.

Senior Sara Troyer's performance was highlighted by a third-place finish in the three-meter dive on Saturday (656.20) and a fifth-place dive in the one-meter on Friday (536.75). 

Sophomore Reagan Hinze also saw herself to two finals appearances, placing 17th in the one-meter with a 451.30 and 18th in the three-meter with a 498.60.

Southern California's Nike Agunbiade won the platform on Sunday with a 610.50, with Wyoming's Melissa Mirafuentes taking runner-up. The Big Red divers' next time out will be in Champaign, Ill. on Jan. 22 for a dual against the Fighting Illini at 11 a.m.
