Nebraska Opens Big Ten Play at No. 19 Michigan

The Nebraska softball team travels to Ann Arbor, Mich., this weekend for a three-game Big Ten Conference series with the No. 19 Michigan Wolverines. The teams will open conference play with a game on Friday at 5:30 p.m. (CT) followed by a game on Saturday at 1 p.m. (CT). The series finale is set for 2 p.m. (CT) on Sunday. 
 

Friday's game will be broadcasted live on FS1 while Sunday's game will be on the Big Ten Network. Saturday's game will be available on BTN+ (subscription required). Fans can also listen to the live broadcast for all three games on the Huskers Radio Network or Huskers.com with the call from Nate Rohr. Nebraska (19-9) has won five of its last seven games with an offense that leads the Big Ten in numerous categories including hits, runs, RBIs, home runs, on base percentage and batting average. Sophomore Billie Andrews has led offensively with a .415 batting average and 16 home runs. Junior-transfer Mya Felder holds a .400 batting average, adding 26 hits and 16 RBIs. 
 

In the circle, seniors Olivia Ferrell and Courtney Wallace have been leaders through the first half of the season. Ferrell (10-4) holds a 2.35 ERA with 96 strikeouts through 86.1 innings. Wallace (9-4) has a 3.64 ERA through 80.2 innings and has tossed 59 strikeouts.
