Huskers Ready for Creighton Bluejays

The Nebraska softball team is set to host Creighton in Lincoln, Neb., this Tuesday, March 29. The game which was previously set to start at 5 p.m. will have first pitch at 4 p.m. (CT) at Bowlin Stadium. Fans can listen to the game on the Huskers Radio Network or Huskers.com with the call by Nate Rohr and Mattie Fowler Burkhardt. It will also be streamed live on BTN+ (subscription required). 
 

Nebraska (21-9) has won the last six games with an offense that leads the Big Ten in numerous categories including hits, runs, home runs, RBIs, total bases, slugging percentage and on base percentage. Billie Andrews leads the Big Ten with a .950 slugging percentage, a combined 1.437 on base and slugging percentage and home runs with 17. Junior-transfer Mya Felder leads the Huskers with a .417 batting average, tallying 30 hits, four doubles, two homers and 16 RBIs. 
 

In the circle, seniors Olivia Ferrell and Courtney Wallace have been leaders throughout the first half of the season. Ferrell (11-4) holds a 2.37 ERA with 101 strikeouts through 91.2 innings. Wallace (10-4) has a 3.60 ERA through 89.1 innings and has tossed 64 strikeouts. 
 

Creighton (13-11) opened Big East play last weekend against Providence, claiming the series, 2-1. Emma Rosonke leads the Bluejay offense, holding a .373 batting average including 22 hits and seven homers. Kailey Wilson has added five homers and 17 RBIs with a .368 batting average. In the circle, Mikayla Santa Cruz holds a 5-6 record and a 3.84 ERA while Kate Mullally (3-1) has a 2.65 ERA.
