Huskers Set to Battle Badgers

The Nebraska softball team (33-9, 13-0) travels to Madison, Wis., this weekend, April 22-24, for a three-game series with Wisconsin. The Huskers will face the Badgers in game one on Friday, starting at 3 p.m. (CT). Game two is set for Saturday at 1 p.m. (CT) while the final game of the series will be Sunday at 1 p.m. (CT). All three games will be streamed live on BTN+ (subscription required). Fans can follow the action live on the Huskers Radio Network and Huskers.com with the call from Nate Rohr. 
 

The Huskers have won their last 18 games with an offense that leads the Big Ten in numerous categories including batting average, runs, hits, home runs, RBIs, total bases, slugging percentage, walks and on-base percentage. Junior transfer Mya Felder leads the Big Red with a .411 batting average, tallying 46 hits, six doubles, four homers and 29 RBIs. Olivia Ferrell leads in the circle with 17 victories, holding a 1.82 ERA through 127.0 innings. Courtney Wallace has added 13 wins in the circle, appearing in 110.0 innings and striking out 79 batters.
 

Wisconsin (23-11) is 8-4 in conference play. The Badgers are coming off of a three-game series sweep over the Michigan State Spartans. UW also claimed the series sweep over Iowa in week one. The Badgers picked up their third Big Ten series with a 2-1 victory over Indiana. In the Badgers only series lost this season thus far, UW fell to Illinois in three straight games.
