The Nebraska diving program has added eight-time Swiss junior champion Frankie Webb to its roster for the 2023-24 season, Head Diving Coach Landon Marzullo announced on Thursday, June 8.
"We are really excited to add Frankie to our team," Marzullo said. "Her attitude and her athletic ability will make an instant impact among our Husker divers."
Webb, a transfer who spent her first collegiate season at North Carolina State in 2022-23, is expected to have three years of eligibility as a Husker.
The sophomore from Cambridge, England who graduated from the Zurich International School, added three silver medals and a pair of bronzes at the Swiss National Championships in 2018 and 2022, while also capturing three silver medals at English Nationals in her age group.
As a freshman at NC State, Webb recorded a season-high 249.84 on the one-meter board at Duke on Jan. 14, 2023. She added a season-high three-meter performance of 250.70 against UNC Wilmington on Jan. 27. Overall, she competed five times on the one meter and three times on the three-meter board during 2022-23.
