For the second-straight year and second time in program history, the #19 Nebraska soccer team (13-2-3, 7-1-2 Big Ten) will host a Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal match as it faces Ohio State (9-6-2, 5-4-1 Big Ten) on Sunday at Hibner Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. (CT) on NPM World/B1G+.
The Huskers earned the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament, while the Buckeyes represent the No. 7 seed.
Last Time Out
The Huskers claimed a share of the 2023 Big Ten Conference title, as NU defeated Illinois by 4-2 decision to cap off an outstanding regular season. Finishing with a 7-1-2 record in league play, NU notched its fifth regular-season title in program history and 11th combined championship, which includes six conference tournament titles.

Nebraska Conference Tournament Notes
• Nebraska finished Big Ten play with a 7-1-2 record and matched the second-most Big Ten wins in a season since joining the conference in 2011.
• The Huskers won a share of the Big Ten regular season title with 23 points, tied with Michigan State. NU earned the No. 2 seed in conference tournament due to the tiebreakers and the Huskers’ seed marks the second-best finish in the Big Ten standings since joining the conference in 2011, behind only the 2013 team that finished the conference season with a 10-1 record.
• Nebraska is making its sixth appearance in the Big Ten Tournament since joining the conference in 2011. NU is 5-4 in Big Ten Tournament games, winning the title in 2013.
• Nebraska is making its 20th overall appearance in a conference tournament since 1996, when the Huskers played their first season as a member of the Big 12. NU didn’t have a conference affiliation in its first two years as a program in 1994 and 1995.
• Nebraska is 23-13 in conference tournament games, winning six titles. The Huskers won the Big 12 Tournament crown in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2002, while taking home the Big Ten title in 2013.

• The Huskers are currently ranked 23rd in this week’s RPI, 15th in the Top Drawer Soccer poll and 19th by the United Soccer Coaches.
• Dale has earned four Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors this season (second-most all-time in Big Ten history) as she currently leads the country and conference in total goals (23) and game-winning goals (7), while also leading the conference in shots (110), shots on goal (53) and points (50). Additionally, she has tallied nine total braces on the season and is currently tied for third all-time in the Husker records in goals scored. She is behind Kim Engesser who scored 27 goals in 1998 and 26 goals in 1997. Nationally, Dale is first in shots per game (6.11) and goals per game (1.28), and second in points per game (2.78) and shots on goal per game (2.94).
• Dale’s total goals and points are the most in the Big Ten since 2001 when Penn State’s Christie Welsh had 25 goals along with 68 points.
• Junior forward Weber has continued her strong offensive attack as she is second in the conference standings in shots (72) and points (27), fourth in shots on goal (33) and fifth in goals (10). Nationally, Weber is 11th in shots per game (4.24) and 25th in total points.
• Junior midfielder Florence Belzile, a two-time member of the Top Drawer Soccer team, has a team-high 13 assists on the season, good for second in the conference and third nationally. She also is 10th in the conference standings with 19 points.
• In the goal, senior Sami Hauk has recorded 68 saves on the year and is currently fifth in saves per game (3.78).
• This season’s win over Eastern Washington also marked the 350th win in program history. Head Coach John Walker achieved the same milestone, having been at the helm of the program since its inception in 1994.
• Head Coach John Walker is in his 30th season, alongside assistant coaches Savanah Anderson-Baer (first season), Ian Bridge (ninth season) and Marty Everding (26th season).
