Huskers to Compete in ATP Lincoln Challenger

Lincoln, Neb. - Five Huskers from the Nebraska men’s tennis team will be competing in the upcoming ATP Lincoln Challenger Tournament hosted at the Sid and Dillon Tennis Center. The tournament, running August 4-11, will feature players as high as world No. 58. The challenger level tournament provides top opponent experience and ATP opportunities for the Big Red players competing. 

Senior Henry Bilicic, junior Nikolay Sysoev, and redshirt freshman Colson Wells, will each play for a spot in the main draw by playing in the qualifying round of the tournament on August 4, which starts at 10 a.m. (CT). Senior Anton Shepp and recent junior transfer Joan Torres Espinosa have been selected for main draw wildcards and will begin first round play on August 5, starting at 11 a.m. (CT).
