Nebraska's Rudy Sautron captured the first Big Ten Men's Golfer-of-the-Week award of the 2024-25 season, when the conference announced its weekly honor on Thursday, Sept. 12.
Sautron, a sophomore from Reunion Island, France, shared the award with Oregon's Aidan Krafft after Sautron produced the best debut performance by a Husker men's golfer in history.
A transfer from NCAA Division II Cameron (Okla.) University, Sautron captured the individual title at the season-opening Gopher Invitational in Independence, Minn., on Monday with a three-round total of 208 (-5) to power the Huskers to a third-place team finish.

Sautron's tournament began with an opening-round 69 on Sunday that included an eagle on No. 18, before adding a one-under-par 70 in Sunday's second round.
